Title: Marketing, Consumer Insight Specialist

Description:

Global supplier of fragrances and flavorings for sensorial and nutritional solutions is looking for a
Marketing and Consumer Insight Specialist who will be responsible for designing and delivering reactive and proactive customer presentations working closely with the sweet business unit to integrate various insights (category, consumer and flavor trends). The role will be integrating secondary and primary research gathered from research suppliers to tell a story from the data on consumer, category and flavor trends. You must be able to synthesize data and present data findings to internal and external clients. If you are passionate about your work and consider yourself a foodie this is the place for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and analyze secondary data using trade magazines, web sources, external data suppliers, GfK, Mintel, Iconoculture, Technomic, and TrendHunter, to create market overview and trend presentation
  • Create trend reports on focused categories and flavors
  • Communicate with international colleagues for international insights
  • Collaborate on all Sweet customer projects and requests
  • Guide online content sharing and implement online email initiatives
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to implement Marketo email campaigns to both promote yearly initiatives and PR calendar
  • Define and create relevant offerings and content for push Marketo campaigns
  • Implement digital content marketing initiatives including content creation (blog posts, e-books, teasers) within CMS, promotion and analyzation in Google Analytics
  • Measure impact of automated marketing campaigns
  • Identify relevant content for the content marketing meeting on a weekly basis
  • Define scope of the project with VP Marketing
  • Work with outside agencies to run the research with appropriate methodologies
  • Create teaser, small presentations and extended presentation deck
  • Present with Account Managers for strategic accounts
  • Develop and apply appropriate off line and online promotion
  • Work with customers and external partners to coordinate synergies around all events

Requirements:
  • B.A. / B.S. in marketing. MBA Strongly preferred
  • 3 to 5 years in integrated marketing and familiar with consumer insights
  • Experience in consumer research and in digital marketing concepts (SEO, automated marketing, lead generation, analytics)
  • Strong organizational, written and presentation communication skills
  • Needs to be able to re-prioritize work based on business activities
  • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage project independently
  • Ability to synthesize data into storytelling that connects with customers brands
  • Passionate about food and beverage
  • Creative thinking and willingness to learn
  • Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
