Description:

National Media Publisher expanding with local focus in each market is seeking a self-motivated individual who will expand sales and potentially help lead a team to do the same. The successful candidate is a top producer and strong closer. He or she excels in developing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including digital and print. The perfect candidate is passionate and driven, who wants to grow professionally. The sales target area is North East Houston in the Kingwood and Humble areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate advertising revenue by consistently meeting and exceeding monthly goals.
  • Report directly to VP of Sales.
  • Develop new business and manage the sales and publication cycle from start to finish.
  • Maintain an active schedule of face-to-face appointments and prospecting calls.
  • Manage content updates, oversee distribution of twice monthly publication, and engage in social media updates.
  • Represent Company at events.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements:
  • 5 + years advertising sales experience selling to Builders, Developers and Real Estate professionals a plus.
  • Digital media sales experience.
  • A strong track record of consistent revenue growth.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • The ability to exceed expectations in a results-oriented environment.
  • Professional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self Starter and ability to work from home if necessary.
  • Experience in MS Office and Excel.
