  • Leads and executes custom qualitative and quantitative research including concept testing, shopper insights, consumer targeting and need gap identification, brand and product positioning assessment, brand health tracking analysis, macro trend identification, digital/social and ecommerce insights
  • Applies research tools and techniques across the spectrum of new product development through post launch tracking, e.g. ideation, concept development/testing, segmentation, volumetric estimations, pricing, ad/promo testing, tracking, trial and usage studies.
  • Utilizes and analyzes various business intelligence sources using in-house tools and suppliers to produce syndicated data, market level data, custom consumer research, social/digital analytics, retailer customer data, and consumer trends
  • Design insights studies, pulling and analyzing data
  • Helps influence decisions and action planning for both national and regional strategies that drive retail sales and growth.

Requirements:
  • BS/BA in marketing, market research or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant full-time work experience in market research, consumer insights research and data analytics with CPG or consumer service marketing companies.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking with the ability to develop consumer insights from data and research to drive actions for the business.
  • Experience with syndicated/custom panel data and standard syndicated data services such as Nielsen/IRI, MRI-Simmons, Numerator, Spectra, etc.
  • A strong understanding of basic and advanced principles of experimental design and analysis across both quantitative and qualitative research

  • Help manage the commercial success through marketing, client interaction, and relentlessly excellent project delivery
  • Innovate around survey design, introduce advanced modeling to clients, and ensure deliverables meet the high standard of the firm.
  • Elevate firms survey offering by acting a resource and mentor to survey professionals, especially around market research methodologies
  • Meet directly with clients and internal partners to increase awareness of and confidence in firms survey’s capabilities (this may involve up to 10% travel)
  • Develop, implement and enforce best practices for project execution to deliver high-quality research and deliverables to senior clientele
  • Work closely with the VP to develop and execute strategies for growth

Requirements:
  • 7-10+ years of market research or similar experience

The position will provide technology leadership for the organization by implementing technology solutions that facilitate the company’s ability to meet its strategic objectives and by managing the effectiveness, safety, and availability of data, applications, and other business tools required for employees to perform their duties. This is a hands-on IT role with management of 9 others.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand the organization strategic direction and to identify unmet needs and opportunities for improvement where technology can play a role. Generate recommendations including costs and ROI.
  • Manage data as a strategic asset by ensuring the integrity and availability of data for reporting, accounting, and analysis; managing interfaces between systems both internally and between company and outside sources/vendors; improving database structure and design to address the growing sophistication of the organization and its customers; and enhancing the company s ability to make data accessible to its customers and employees via reporting tools, web tools and other means.
  • Direct the planning, design, development and implementation of key IT initiatives. Manage resources, processes and project plans. Conduct vendor selection activities and facilitate negotiations as required.
  • Ensure stability and reliability of technology infrastructure including, companies website, networks , telecommunications, databases and hardware. This includes ensuring that monitoring, software upgrades updates, risk assessments and other necessary activities are routinely conducted and documented and that fail over and contingency plans are in place.
  • Ensure that the following policies and procedures are in place and up to date: system security, disaster recovery, business continuity and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.

Requirements:
  • 10 years progressive job experience in information technology role.
  • No less than 3 years management experience.
  • Experience in health care management strongly desired
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer sciences or information systems
