Global marketing research firm with 260+ employees with offices in Europe, Asia, North and South America Is looking for a talented professional with a passion for marketing research, strategy and insights, to support the growth of the Healthcare/B2B group. The US location has 25 people, and everyone works remote, the HQ for the US office is in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will be located anywhere in the Northeast but this is a remote role.This role needs someone with strong Qualitative and Quantitative research skills with pharmaceutical, financial services or Automotive research industry experience. The job will manage existing clients, develop new clients and manage Qualitative and Quantitative projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in the Team, delivering services externally with clients but also internally, by fostering talent and expertise, both in the quantitative and qualitative fields.
  • Responsible for developing a research plan to address client needs, executing that research plan and ultimately delivering research results in a timely and effective manner.
  • Partner with the executive team on innovations and new offerings that position the company as trusted consultants for existing and new clients.
  • Oversight and/or management of all aspects of the research process from proposal writing and research design, to analysis and interpretation of results through reporting and presentation of the findings as well as Moderation (Online communities, and TDI’s)
  • Identify opportunities/produce and deliver custom research projects working in collaboration with a team of Directors/ Managers/Analysts/Fieldwork providers in all aspects of research projects
  • Actively builds and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with a client base that is serviced by the Healthcare team through existing accounts, and through new account development.
  • Work to develop relationships through frequent client contact including travel to client sites, leading meetings/presentations, delivering insightful research solutions
  • Close new opportunities, both organic and new, as it relates to healthcare and other industries (CPG, BtoB, Automotive, etc.)

Requirements:
  • 15+ years of supplier-side market research/strategic insights experience. Familiarity with both healthcare and B2B research a plus.
  • Must have primary research experience
  • Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative research techniques (e.g., habits and practices, image and attitude, consumer segmentation, path to purchase/customer journey, behavioral) and being open to innovative, tech enabled research solutions (i.e. beyond established research methodologies)
  • Qualitative moderation skills / experience
  • Team and clients will look up to candidate for industry knowledge and strategic mindset on research assignments
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Superior organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted research programs and to create, manage, and commit to a project plan, schedule and budget
  • Strong coaching/mentoring skills (for junior level staff)
  • Data savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Resourceful, pragmatic, and flexible
  • Work well in a team-based remote environment
  • Proven experience building and managing successful client relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems. Data visualization skills in PowerPoint a big plus

The successful candidate will play a dual role, focusing on covering the private equity community and the secondaries market for alternative assets. Specifically, the reporter will write exclusive, insightful, and actionable stories about private equity firms and their limited partners. The senior reporter will aim to produce content that leads with analysis and informed perspective. This will involve collaborating with the editor on ideas, sourcing, and story structures with an eye to delivering valuable information.

Other responsibilities will include writing articles that profile firms and people, identify and analyze trends in fundraising and other activities, and other key community developments including key personnel moves.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute regularly to the company’s private equity site and its magazine (10 issues per year)
  • Develop cover stories and original news and features
  • Conduct interviews and develop relationships with sources and readers (GPs, their LPs, and others) to break news.
  • Receive assignments or follow up on news leads and tips from sources.
  • Regularly attend industry events either virtually or in-person
  • moderate panels at the company’s conferences (either in person or virtually).
  • Communicate regularly with the editor and meet deadlines.
  • Be highly attentive to details and accuracy.
  • This role will involve gaining access to and publishing sensitive and privileged information. The reporter will be expected to understand and adhere to journalistic ethics and consult with editors on any potential conflicts.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a business reporter. Experience covering private equity/alternative assets or related financial field to understand investing and GP-LP relationships a plus.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Superb communication and networking skills.
  • Computer proficiency, such as using the Microsoft Office Suite, online search tools, databases, WordPress, and familiarity with social media platforms, such as LinkedIn. Infogram experience a plus.

The job can be a Manager or Senior Manager level depending upon experience and skills. Ideally, they would love someone who can come to the office 3 days a week but are flexible for the appropriate candidate who may live farther than 90 minutes away.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with key stakeholders and external partners building a foundation of new products and brands for now and the future.
  • Recommend how to generate ideas, build and validate concepts, and all the stages of product and brand innovation through market launch
  • Focus will be on iterative test and learn work streams and analytical techniques

Requirements:
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in market research focused on Consumer Insights.
  • Mastery of MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to synthesize data from primary, secondary, and syndicated research
  • Experience developing story-driven insights that are actionable
  • Qualitative methods including online or in-person focus groups, triads, 1 on 1 interviews, ethnography.
  • Quantitative methods including idea/concept testing, CLTs, iHUTs, Sensory testing, test market analytics, and experimental design.
  • Any experience with Category POS / Panel data- IRI is a plus.
  • Analytic methods such as, but not limited to - Volumetric Forecasting, TURF, Max-Diff, Choice-based methods.
  • Research methodology experience with segmentation, demand landscape, A&Us, etc.

The focus of this role is account management of multiple existing accounts with a consultative approach, and a deep level of research knowledge and expertise. The Senior Research Director should be able to manage multiple accounts with little or no involvement from the partners and be comfortable designing studies, writing proposals, participating in sales calls, and independently executing client meetings and presentations. Responsibilities:
  • Directs and supervises all functions and activities of the project to achieve the client’s goals and the successful completion of projects on time and on budget.

  • Manages multiple accounts with little or no partner involvement and is the client’s primary contact point, not only for existing projects, but for consultation and potential new business.
  • Works consultatively with accounts including study design and/or methodology recommendation, proposal development and budgeting, and execution.
  • Assists with setting sales/growth targets, and participates in marketing activities (however, this is not a sales position).
  • Manages all project-related communication with internal staff as well as vendors.
  • Responsible for budgeting, proposal development
  • Is highly familiar with a variety of quantitative methodologies, including online and telephone
  • Develops questionnaires and/or topic guides independently
  • Expertise and comfort moderating qualitative research (in-person, online/webcam, telephone, bulletin boards).
  • Expertise and skill in high-level analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, including multivariate techniques.
  • Can mentor and help train junior staff

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 7+ years of marketing research experience (supplier-side preferred but not required)
  • Experience managing qualitative and quantitative research studies
  • Experience interacting with clients successfully and managing them throughout the research process
  • Excellent communication– both written and oral
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and project management skills
  • Competence in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in creating visually appealing reports (e.g., infographics or data visualization) a plus
  • Experience with SPSS and or knowledge of statistical methodologies a plus
