Title: Senior Manager, Pricing Analytics

Description:

Consumer Products firm in NJ is looking to hire a Senior Manager of Pricing Analytics to lead a high performing analytics team. The team utilizes tools such as SAS, R, Python, eViews, BEX, Qlik, and Tableau for advanced analytics in their quest to optimize margin and grow volume. A critical aspect of the role is to tell the story behind the numbers by effectively communicating the implications, risks/opportunities, and impact on the business. You will bring a customer centric approach to the role creating positive experience for your internal and external customers by maximizing the value your team delivers.

Responsibilities:
  • The role will develop and model pricing structures. This includes analysis with the ability to clearly communicate to senior management to align on key business initiatives and meet the needs of our customers
  • Develop and analyze metrics to aid in product and customer pricing decisions
  • Quantify revenue and margin impact of existing and proposed pricing programs
  • Measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies and programs, and recommend enhancements to senior management
  • Provide thought leadership while forming recommendations of pricing changes to affect overall value proposition of our products
  • Make recommendations to the company’s leadership team on pricing strategies; communicate pricing strategy, structure, policies and processes to the organization 
  • Develop and foster close relationships with key internal customers such as sales, product management, and finance to provide diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
  • Leverage existing and new tools to incorporate analyses (predictive and descriptive) that inform overall pricing landscape and strategy 

Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience developing and executing pricing strategies, pricing analytics, and profitability management
  • Strategic thinker who is dedicated to providing valuable insights and has led strategic initiatives that require fundamental change
  • Strong leadership skills and proven record of developing high potential employees
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and under pressure while managing a large number of complex projects simultaneously
  • SAP SD/Vistex experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of tools like SAS, R, Python, eViews, BEX, Qlik, and Tableau
  • This position requires 15% travel
