Title: Senior Market Research Manager
Salary: 75-90K
Location: IN - Indianapolis or Denver

Market Research and Consulting firm in the home improvement industry is looking to add to their staff. The firm provides home improvement data-based insights and foresights at the highest value for manufacturers, retailers, suppliers, and industry organizations. They provide primary research which encompasses baseline and tracking studies which profile the characteristics, attitudes and buying behaviors of consumer and professional remodeler customers. The Senior Market Research Project Manager can be located in Indianapolis, IN or Denver, CO with five years or more experience.

  • Manage quantitative research projects from start to finish
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide the highest level of service and support
  • Design questionnaires, plan analyses and coordinate resources for online and phone fieldwork
  • Work with the Operations Team to manage projects including questionnaire setup, programming, fieldwork, coding, tabulations of data and other analytical needs
  • Manage the project timelines while ensuring milestones are met and approved signed off at the various stages of the project execution
  • Analyze and interpret project results; prepare reports and presentations

  • A college degree in mathematics, statistics, market research, or other analytical focus is required.
  • 5 or more years’ experience in a data analyst, market researcher and/or a related position
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, in doing analysis
  • Familiarity with respondent level data files and custom analysis. SPSS experience preferred.
  • Experience using online survey research tools (i.e., Decipher, Qualtrics, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze data sets, connect dots and understand data narratives.
  • Ability to write summary reports and actionable insights based on research.
  • Background and/or familiarity with quantitative research methodologies.
