Description:

Leading importer and distributor of industrial packaging supplies with an established customer base and a growing ecommerce business is looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Manager to lead ecommerce strategy, optimize performance, and drive revenue growth. This role will own the ecommerce roadmap, improve customer experience, and work closely with leadership, developers, and agency partners to scale the business. If you enjoy building, optimizing, and delivering measurable results, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. This role will require someone in-office Monday–Thursday, Remote Friday.

Responsibilities:
  • Own ecommerce revenue, conversion, customer retention, and overall channel performance.
  • Develop and execute the ecommerce growth strategy and roadmap.
  • Analyze website and customer data using Google Analytics 4 and other tools to identify opportunities.
  • Improve site merchandising, navigation, product pages, search, cart, and checkout experience.
  • Lead SEO initiatives to increase organic traffic and visibility.
  • Build and optimize email/lifecycle marketing programs to drive repeat business.
  • Manage paid media agency performance and marketing budgets.
  • Create reporting dashboards and track key ecommerce KPIs.
  • Translate business needs into development priorities and manage the ecommerce roadmap.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Technology to enhance the online customer experience.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of ecommerce or digital commerce experience.
  • Proven success, growing ecommerce revenue and improving conversion rates.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4, ecommerce metrics, and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and SEO best practices.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Hands-on mindset with a willingness to execute as well as lead.
Preferred:
  • Experience in B2B ecommerce, wholesale, manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Experience growing an established ecommerce business.
  • Familiarity with custom ecommerce platforms and ERP-integrated environments.
  • Experience building email marketing or lifecycle programs.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
